The fifteen crosses before Daniel Rohrbough’s father, stepfather, and grandfather removed Eric and Dylan’s. The crosses were created and erected by Illinois carpenter Greg Zanis, who has been making crosses like these since his father-in-law, who was also his best friend was murdered. When asked why he decided to make 15 crosses instead of 13 he stated “They had a mom and a dad. They had friends. I think everyone has lost here.”
